Fifty new beneficiaries of the provincial government's Iskolar sang Iloilo program pay Gov. Arthur Defensor, Sr. a courtesy call on Thursday, January 5, 2017. The new beneficiaries, composed of third year and fourth year college students, are taking up courses in agriculture, forestry and fisheries at the different state colleges and universities in the province. They are receiving monthly stipends and other allowances from the provincial government.

Marian Rose Foundation and LIG Global Foundation Inc. are again doing a four-day medical and surgical mission in Iloilo province from Jan. 10-13, 2017.
