Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. with Iloilo Schools Division Superintendent Roel Bermejo during the Ceremonial Toss at the opening of the National Invitational Badminton Competition slated from May 17 until May 20, 2022 at the Iloilo Sports Complex Covered Gym. More or less 100 male and female players are joining the event organized by the Department of Education as qualifying games for the ASEAN School Games this coming November 2022 in Dumaguete City.
Iloilo will also host the qualifying games for athletics on May 29-31, 2022 and swimming on June 5-7, 2022.
