First District Board Member Jo Ann B. Germinanda officially takes her oath of office from Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. after the flag-raising ceremony this morning.
Germinanda replaced former Board Member and now Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) VI Regional Director Carmelo Nochete.
Germinanda is not new to the public office having served as Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal President of Guimbal and she has also worked as a staff of former Board Member and Vice Gov. Richard Garin and recently as a staff of First District Congresswoman Janet Garin.
After her oathtaking, Germinanda granted a press interview with the reporters of Bombo Radyo, Aksyon Radyo and DYSI Super Radyo at her office.
Germinanda then paid a courtesy call with Vice Governor Christine S. Garin.
