ILOILO – Fifteen fishermen from Negros Occidental were caught using the forbidden trawlboat, a modified Danish seine, in marine waters off Baliguian Is., in Brgy.,Malangabang, Concepcion, Iloilo over the weekend.
PO3 Philip Cañoso of the Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force reported on Monday that the fishermen were led by their 42-year-old captain Jill Rinquijo, a resident of Brgy. Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Gov. Arthur Defensor, Sr. inaugurated the newly rehabilitated gymnasium and stage in Ardemil National High School (ANHS) in Sara, Iloilo yesterday (July 18, 2017). He went to Brgy.
