Hundreds of Ilonggo patients benefited from the four-day medical and surgical mission of Marian Rose World Mission (MWRM) and Life is Great (LIG) Global Foundation last week.The mission brought 98 volunteers, composed of doctors, nurses and other medical workers, from the United States of America to undertake the medical procedures for free.
Marian Rose Foundation and LIG Global Foundation Inc. are again doing a four-day medical and surgical mission in Iloilo province from Jan. 10-13, 2017. They are bringing in 98 volunteers from America composed of doctors, nurses and other medical workers to conduct surgical mission for women diseases at Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial District Hospital in Guimbal and Cataract operations in Western Visayas Medical Center and Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan, among others. ILOILO – Palm Concepcion Power Corporation (PCPC), in partnership with Hospital Management Office, will be holding a medical and dental mission in Barangay Nipa, Concepcion town this coming June 19. Dubbed as “PCPC Cooperation Alliance on Restorative Efforts and Sustenance for Health (CARES) for Health”, the project aims to provide quality and sustainable healthcare programs and services to the people of Concepcion where the 135-megawatt coal-fired power plant operates.
