The ambulances of the 12 Iloilo provincial government-run hospitals are now equipped with Automated External Defibrillators (AED). Governor Arthur Defensor, Sr. turned over the 12 units of AED to the chiefs of hospitals at his office on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Provincial Administrator Raul Banias (6th from left) leads the turn-over of six ambulances donated by Medipeace Korea to Iloilo province which will be deployed to four district hospitals (Guimbal, Cabatuan, Sara and Dumangas) and two Municipal Health Offices (Concepcion and Miagao) on Thursday, February 9, 2017. Medipeace is a non-government organization from South Korea that has been a development partner of the province for several years. The organization also donated three ambulances to the province last year.

ILOILO - To help improve the quality of healthcare in this typhoon-stricken province, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office is donating 17 ambulances, among which are for the three district hospitals. The new ambulances will benefit patients from Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Janiuay, Dr. Ricardo Ladrido Memorial District Hospital in Lambunao and Aleosan District Hospital in Alimodian.
