This district is an ideal place for people who wish to spend a restful, pleasant vacation in a farm setting with various activities for the adventurous tourist. BULABOG PUTI-AN NATURAL PARK in Barangay Moroboro can be enjoy as a day visit to the area. It is the biggest limestone rock formation in Panay excluding Guimaras. It was designated as a National Park through Congressional Bill No. 1651, and such is considered a “national significant area”. The park has 33 known and named caves. It has a land area of 834.003 hectares covering five of Dingle’s 33 Barangays.
Passi City is another popular destination for cave exploration with 17 caves to boast. The present structure of the Gothic Byzantine architecture ST. AGUSTINE PARISH in Dumangas was built in 1887 and was declared as a National Landmark on May of 1983. THE RUINS OF THE FIRST STONE CHURCH in PANAY is found in barangay Ermita, Dumangas was declared a national landmark by the National Historical Institute. When traveling to the municipalities of Dumangas,Lemery via SanRafael and Barotac Viiejo , via the Monfort Coast Boulevard, one cam take a van at BALDOZA TRANSPORT TERMINAL in Barangay Baldoza. From the terminal, taxis and jeepneys are available going to the city. When traveling to Bacolod from Iloilo or vice-versa, the quickest inexpensive is the 3-fold RoRo at Dumangas port located in Sitio Nalu-oyan, in Barangay Sapao. From Iloilo city one can take an air-conditioned van from Baldoza Transport Terminal in Lapz of jeepney at Northern Central Iloilo Transport Terminal Inc. in Barangay Tagbak , Jaro, Iloilo city. To get to the towns within these districts ,buses are available daily at the NORTHERN CENTRAL ILOILO TRANSPORT TERMINAL INC. in Barangay Tagbak, Jaro, Iloilo City. An air-conditional bus (Ceres)run daily to Barotac Nuevo, Anilao and Banate.
