Arthur Defensor, Jr. and Vice Governor Christine Garin strike a pose holding the Grand Champion trophy for the Best Float for First Sparks of Freedom Float Competition during the 126th Independence Day celebration recently.

Vice Governor Garin was not present during the turnover of the trophy at the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) office in Mandaluyong City on June 13, 2024.

Iloilo’s float “The Cry of Santa Barbara” bested nine other LGUs that participated in the parade of float competition.
