Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. has established a new office to consolidate all youth-related programs and projects—the Office of the Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO).
Previously housed under the Provincial Population Office (PPO), the LYDO will now function as a distinct office dedicated to advancing initiatives for the province’s young people.
Appointed to lead the newly created office are Shiela Mae C. Tuares, Local Youth Development Officer IV, and Jayson A. Esteba, Administrative Officer II.
This morning, they were formally presented to Governor Defensor by Atty. Renee Valencia, head of the Human Resource Development and Management Office (HRMDO), together with Atty. Ruel Von Superio, chief of the PPO.
