This morning, nine provincial government-run district hospitals, along with the Hospital Management Office (HMO), received brand-new service vehicles to strengthen their operations and mobility.
The recipients include:
- Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (Cabatuan)
- Sara District Hospital (Sara)
- Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital (Lambunao)
- Ramon D. Duremdes District Hospital (Dumangas)
- Aleosan District Hospital (Alimodian)
- Don Valerio Palmares Sr. Memorial District Hospital (Passi City)
- Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital (Janiuay)
- Dr. Ricardo S. Provido Sr. Memorial District Hospital (Calinog)
- Jesus M. Colmenares District Hospital (Balasan)
The new vehicles are expected to significantly improve the mobility of hospital officials and personnel, particularly in facilitating transactions and coordination with the Iloilo Provincial Capitol.
A total of ₱20 million, allocated under Supplemental Budget No. 1–2024, funded the acquisition of these service vehicles.
The ceremonial turnover was led by Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, Vice Governor Nathalie Ann Debuque, and Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Dennis Ventilacion, who handed over the vehicles to the respective Chiefs of Hospital and their staff.
