Personnel of Provincial Population Office (PPO) headed by Atty. Ruel Von Superio presented the awards they received during the 2024 Population and Development (PopDev) Awards held on March 11, 2025 at SMX Convention Center, Bacolod City during the flag-raising ceremony this morning.

PPO was awarded as Most Outstanding Provincial Population Office in Western Visayas

In addition, the Province of Iloilo garnered the following recognitions on the different program areas for the following achievements:

1. 152% of adolescents reached in the advancement of Adolescent Health and Development (AHD)
2. 833% of new Family Planning (FP) acceptors in the promotion of Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP)
3. 118% of couples/individuals reached in the promotion of Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning (RPFP)
4. Implementation of the population and development strategy along Special Population Group (SPG)

Provincial Administrator Raul Banias joined the PPO personnel in the photo opportunity.
