Board Member Rolando Distura with Provincial Administrator Raul Banias turnover a Sangguniang Panlalalawigan Resolution of Commendation to Ann Rapunzel “Rara” Ganzon on her appointment as Regional Director of the National Commission of Senior Citizens – Western Visayas.
Ganzon, formerly Social Welfare Officer IV of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, officially took her oath of office from NCSC Chairperson Dr. Mary Jean Loreche in Manila on July 25, 2025.
Ganzon was conferred the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award, the highest award given to public servants by the Civil Service Commission, by Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on September 18, 2024.
In her message after the turnover of the resolution, Ganzon thanked Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., Vice Governor Nathalie Ann Debuque and other provincial officials and her colleagues at the Iloilo provincial government for the opportunity to serve the province during her stint at PSWDO.
