IFFI Discusses Initial 2027 Festival Plans In Courtesy Visit On Gov. Toto
The Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) paid a courtesy visit on Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. this morning.
Chairman Judge Peña led the delegation, together with Mr. Angel De Leon, President; incoming President Dr. Ronald Latap; Trustee Mr. Allan Ryan Tan; and Executive Director Ms. Joyce Ann Clavecillas.
Also present were Tourism Officer and LEDIP Head Ms. Aulynn Yue Sin, and Ilonggo historian and PICAO Chief Mr. Nereo Lujan.
Nexus PH Partners With IPG EEC Desk For Solar Community Meetup Iloilo
New Energy Nexus Philippines partners with the Iloilo Provincial Government, through its Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office- Energy Efficiency and Conservation Desk - IPG for its Iloilo leg of the Solar Community Meetup held on May 26, 2026, at the District 21 Hotel Iloilo.
IPG has been at the forefront of renewable energy, especially with the installation of rooftop Solar PVs, a significant contributor to energy efficiency and conservation.
Keeping Our Coasts Clean in Leganes
To conclude the Month of the Ocean, the PGENRO-Province of Iloilo joined the Coastal Clean-up at the Leganes Integrated Katunggan Eco-Park together with the BFP, MIWD, LGU-Leganes and spearheaded by MPIW in May 29, 2026.
A total of 117 kilogram of wastes collected including PET bottles, wrappers, cellophanes, bottle cups, leathers, cloths, rubbers, styrofoam, and fishing nets.
