The Iloilo provincial government bagged the Government Service Insurance System's (GSIS) Silver Seal of Protection Award for two consecutive years.
Iloilo was honored for its exemplary dedication, commitment, and sustained efforts to protect its assets and build resilience towards a safe province.
Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, HRMDO Chief Atty. Renee Valencia received the award during the Pagpupugay sa mga Kaagapay ng GSIS awarding ceremony today at the Iloilo Convention Center. They were joined by the staff from the HRMDO and the General Services Office who received the plaque of appreciation on behalf of GSO Chief Vicente Flores Jr.
The Seal of Protection recognizes government agencies that have secured appropriate and adequate insurance coverage through GSIS and have adhered to Republic Act 656 or the Property Insurance Law.
The province of Iloilo received the same distinction in 2024.
