Provincial Administrator Raul Banias welcomes the participants in the Iloilo Transport Cooperative Congress organized by the Provincial Cooperatives Development Office (PCDO) as part of the 124th Semana sang Iloilo held at Punta Villa Resort in Arevalo, Iloilo City.

PCDO chief Atty. Arturo Cangrejo said the event is an opportunity to discuss issues and concerns relative to the operation of transport cooperatives under the Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

Twenty transport cooperatives serving the city and province of Iloilo are joining the whole day event.

Also present are representatives from Cooperative Development Authority, Land Transportation Frachising & Regulatory Board, Land Transportation Office, and Iloilo City Transportation & Traffic Management Unit who are ready to address and answer the concerns of the transport cooperatives.

Banias assured the provincial government's all-out support for the success and welfare of the transport cooperatives.
