Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) representatives recently met with Ramon Tabiana Memorial District Hospital (RTMDH) Chief Dr. Francisco Ronnel J. Quiñon to assess the facility’s capabilities and discuss tapping the existing AFP reserve medical staff to provide specialized care.

Plans also include training RTMDH personnel in military healthcare protocols to ensure seamless delivery of services to soldiers stationed near their deployment areas.

Reinstating RTMDH as a military referral hospital will benefit both the military and the local community, as the upgraded services and additional expertise will elevate the overall quality of healthcare available to all patients.

The initiative aligns with the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and expanding specialized medical services in the province.
