Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. inspected the Federico Roman Tirador Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Janiuay to ensure that dengue patients receive proper care and treatment.
Data from the Hospital Management Office showed that 15 in-patients are being treated at the province-run hospital due to dengue.
The governor also met with the hospital staff to check on the status of the health facilities and medical supplies to ensure that the cases are properly managed.
The provincial government is emphasizing the crucial role of the community in preventing and managing the disease by maintaining a clean environment and eliminating the breeding sites of mosquitoes.
