Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. turned over financial assistance totaling P27.945 million to 10 barangays. Four recipient barangays are from Lambunao, three from Cabatuan, and one each from Estancia, San Miguel, and Santa Barbara.
The funding is earmarked for completion of various infrastructure projects, construction of farm-to-market road, and land acquisition for multi-purpose development centers and other government facilities.
The recipient barangays are:

1. Barangay Buri β P3.813 million for the purchase of 1,271-square meter lot for the Multi-Purpose Center and other government facilities

3. Barangay Poblacion Ilaya β P3.3 million for the purchase of 1,100 square meter lot for the Multi-Purpose Center and other government facilities
4. Barangay Simsiman - P3.2 million for the purchase of 1,000-square meter lot for the Barangay Development Center and other government facilities
