The Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office, will be distributing 274 wheelchairs and 164 assistive devices to persons with disabilities amounting to P2.9 million.
The distribution will start on May 16 for the fourth district at the Banate gym followed by the second district on May 18 at the Leganes gym and the first district on May 22 at the Guimbal gym.
On June 8, there will be a distribution at the Badiangan gym for the third district recipients. The fifth district beneficiaries will get receive the devices on June 16 at the Balasan gym.
The devices were donated by the Latter Day Saint Charities-Philippines.
