The Iloilo Provincial Government released P1.350 million for a farm-to-market road opening project in Barangay Caguyuman, Dingle.
Assistant Provincial Administrator Juanito Acanto Jr. and Acting Provincial Agriculturist Geron Magbanua turned over the check to Punong Barangay Roselo Facinal and Barangay Treasurer Arjelyn Dable on Thursday.
Facinal thanked the provincial government for addressing a long-standing issue in their community. Located three kilometers from the town proper, Caguyuman said their residents have been struggling with poor road condition.
Once completed, the new road will improve the mobility of residents and allow the seamless transport of agricultural produce to the market.
