Residents of 13 barangays across Iloilo will soon gain better access to safe and reliable water after the Iloilo Provincial Government released more than P47 million in financial assistance for the construction of community water systems.
Governor Arthur Defensor Jr. turned over the checks to barangay officials, funding water infrastructure projects aimed at addressing the daily water needs of thousands of households in different municipalities.

☑️Php 4.5 million – Brgy. Talo-ato, San Dionisio
☑️Php 4.0 million – Brgy. Capaycapay, Dueñas
☑️Php 3.5 million – Brgy. Onop, Miag-ao
☑️Php 3.5 million – Brgy. Salngan, Oton
☑️Php 3.5 million – Brgy. Burak, Maasin
☑️Php 3.5 million – Brgy. Tambunac, San Enrique
☑️Php 3.0 million – Brgy. Ban-ag, Alimodian
☑️Php 3.0 million – Brgy. Guibuangan, Mina
☑️Php 2.5 million – Brgy. Mambuyo, Sta. Barbara
☑️Php 2.5 million – Brgy. Pamul-ogan, Cabatuan
Once completed, the projects are expected to provide communities with a more dependable water supply, helping improve sanitation, reduce the burden of sourcing water, and support better public health and quality of life.
The initiative forms part of the Iloilo Provincial Government's continuing investment in essential infrastructure that directly benefits communities, particularly rural barangays where access to clean water remains a priority.
