Smiles and gratitude filled the Iloilo Provincial Capitol Lobby as more than 100 individuals in crisis received aid during the Gift-Giving Activity led by the Iloilo Provincial Employees & Community Multipurpose Cooperative - IPECMPC, in partnership with the Iloilo Provincial Government, on Valentine’s Day.

Beneficiaries of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program expressed appreciation as they received grocery bags and cooked meals, distributed by IPECMPC Board of Directors (BOD) and cooperative officers.

Joining the activity was Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul Banias, representing Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr., who emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to poverty alleviation, health, and education under its Social Justice Agenda.

To further support beneficiaries, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) and Provincial Nutrition Council (PNC) provided free vitamins, medicines, fortified food packs, and medical consultations.

After the event, IPECMPC officers met with Governor Defensor to personally hand over a Love Gift, symbolizing continued support for the provincial government’s social programs.
