The Iloilo Provincial Government employees witnessed the Kahilwayan Dance Troupe’s splendid performance at the Parada ng Kalayaan during the 126th Independence Day Celebration in Manila last June 12, 2024, after the flag-raising ceremony this morning.
The municipal officials of the Municipality of Santa Barbara led by Mayor Dennis Superficial joined Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. in celebrating the victory of the Cry of Santa Barbara float which was adjudged Grand Champion.
The Cry of Santa Barbara float is now on display at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol lobby for the public to see.
Governor Defensor handed over the PHP 1 million prize to the Municipality of Santa Barbara. Certificates of recognition were also given to the men and women who made Iloilo province’s participation in the 126th Independence Day Celebration a huge success.
