NAMIT! is an offshoot of Kain Na! a project of the Department of Tourism in support of culinary tourism that introduces the specialties, as well as new dishes that mainly highlight various municipalities in Iloilo Province culinary produce.
The 1st day highlighted Passi City's sweet pineapple cuisine from Pinya Sopa de Pollo & Pinya Curry ala Balot prepared by students from Passi City College and a savory Bangus con Pinya from Passi National High School.
The event aims to promote the culinary specialties in the Province of Iloilo, which significantly preserve local heritage while building on existing tourism assets and driving innovation.
Namit! Year 3 is presented by the Province of Iloilo through the Provincial Culture, Arts, History and Tourism Office, Department of Tourism VI, and in partnership with SM City Iloilo.
