On June 10, 2024, the Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) team headed by PCOL. Cornelio Salinas met with Pototan Mayor Ady Lazaro and MDRRMO counterparts to finalize plans for the upcoming Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Summit on July 31, 2024.
Proposed activities include showcasing DRRM assets, a motorcade from the Capitol grounds to Pototan, and installing educational billboards on disaster preparedness.
This meeting marks a crucial step in organizing the summit to enhance disaster risk management in the province.
