Filipino American Cancer Care (FACC) representatives turned over the Bell of Hope to Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. this morning.
The Bell of Hope is an initiative and project of FACC led by its Founder and President Josie Moralidad-Ziman, an Ilonggo former broadcaster now based in the United States of America.
It aims to instill courage and optimism in cancer patients, mirroring the Victory Bell tradition in America.
A 2018 breast cancer survivor, Josie founded the FACC in 2020 to help Filipinos, Filipino-Americans, and anyone who is medically underserved in the Philippines and the United States by assisting those impacted by cancer.

FACC is a private organization based in the US which not only provides financial assistance to patients during their cancer treatments but also commits to supporting their educational aspirations.
The Bell of Hope stands as a symbol of strength and comfort for cancer patients marking a symbol of resilience and inspiration.
The turnover was witnessed by Provincial Administrator Raul Banias.
The FACC representatives were composed of content creators under the Capiz Content Creator Society, namely, Ma. Renna Abucay, Niño Arthur Abucay, Rafael Abelarde, Jesser Bernales, and Jojie Apaitan Pancha.
