The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region 6, in collaboration with the Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), successfully repatriated a distressed Ilongga Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) from Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

OWWA 6 OIC Regional Director James Mendiola and Jack Arroyo, Welfare Officer of Migrant Workers Office, KSA, facilitated the release of fund from insurance which was turned over to the OFW in the presence of Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and PESO head Cynthia Dario on February 24, 2025.

Governor Defensor assured full assistance to the OFW who plans to file a legal action against her agency and employer for violation of her employment contract.
