Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) Mr. Dustin Teng-Shi Yan paid a courtesy visit to Iloilo Provincial Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. today prior the diplomat’s participation in the Kasadyahan sang Kabanwahanan and the Dinagyang Festival celebrations in Iloilo.

Governor Defensor, a former board member of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), the Philippine counterpart of TECO, cordially welcomed Mr. Teng-Shi Yan and expressed his appreciation for the strengthening of diplomatic and economic relations between Iloilo and Taiwan.

Present in the reception of the diplomat were First Lady Michelle Defensor, Provincial Administrator Raul Banias, and Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Office (LEDIPO) chief Aulynn Yue Sin.
