The Iloilo Provincial Government strengthened the capacity of its Gender and Development (GAD) implementers through a three-day workshop on gender analysis, planning, budgeting, and monitoring.
Members of the Provincial GAD Technical Working Group and GAD Focal Persons from different offices participated in the training and review of GAD plans, facilitated by Philippine Commission on Women-certified gender specialist Reina Olivar.
The activity aimed to equip participants with the skills needed to develop gender-responsive programs, projects, and activities (PPAs), ensuring government interventions are more inclusive and responsive to the needs of women, men, children, senior citizens, and other vulnerable sectors in Iloilo.
