The Province of Iloilo, represented by Dr. Maria Socorro C. Quiñon, Dr. Rodney R. Labis, and Dr. Francisco Ronnel J. Quiñon, joined the Philippine delegation in Bangkok for the Regional Collaboration Meeting: Advancing Health Equity and Enhancing Synergies – Integrating Cervical Cancer and HIV/AIDS Initiatives, organized by the Cancer Warriors Foundation, Expertise France, and Unitaid.
The meeting gathered leaders and experts from various countries to discuss strategies for strengthening the integration of Cervical Cancer and HIV programs, fostering collaboration, innovation, and equitable access to health services across regions.
The Iloilo team will also be participating in the International Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Conference to harvest best practices, gain new knowledge, and build linkages with international partners—all aimed at enhancing the local implementation of cervical cancer and HIV prevention programs in the province.
