Congratulations to the personnel of the Provincial Health Office for being among the regional winners of the CSC PAGASA Award given by the Civil Service Commission.
They were part of the team that implemented the two major health programs of the province – the Zero Open Defecation Movement and the Comprehensive COVID-19 Response Towards a New Normal.
Iloilo is the first province in Western Visayas to earn the Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) Grade I Status conferred by UNICEF and the Department of Health last November 18, 2022.
According to the CSC, the PAGASA Award is conferred to an individual or group comprised of five members for outstanding contribution/s resulting in an idea or performance that directly benefits more than one department of the government.
