Over 700 vaccine doses were administered during the Big Catch-Up Immunization Drive on February 12, 2025, at the Pototan Coliseum, reinforcing the Iloilo Provincial Government’s commitment to public health and disease prevention.

With the support of the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO), the Department of Health Western Visayas Center for Health Development, Relief International, and UNICEF, the Pototan Rural Health Unit (RHU) Birthing Center & Primary Healthcare Facility successfully carried out the initiative.

The vaccination drive covered routine immunizations for children, HPV vaccines, Td vaccines for pregnant women, and pneumonia vaccines for senior citizens. Notably, 55 additional children were classified as Fully Immunized Children (FIC), ensuring their protection against vaccine-preventable diseases.

The Iloilo Provincial Government continues to prioritize accessible and comprehensive healthcare, ensuring that no one is left behind in its mission to build a healthier province.
