The Iloilo Provincial Government, in partnership with the Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK Iloilo Province), has disbursed checks to several barangays across the province to support vital infrastructure, equipment, and resource development initiatives.
Key projects funded include the improvement of the multi-purpose building in Brgy. Baguingin-Lanot, Alimodian, which will provide a modernized space for public gatherings and community activities.
Meanwhile, Brgy. Dalid, Calinog, will utilize its allocation for essential office furniture, monoblock chairs, and audio equipment to enhance administrative functions and support local events.
In Brgy. Nanga, Guimbal, funds were allocated for a laptop and printer, essential resources to streamline barangay operations and support digital record-keeping.
Brgy. Pulao, Dumangas, will benefit from a digital scoreboard to enhance local sports activities, while Brgy. Tubungan, Barotac Nuevo, received funding for a laptop and printer to support more effective barangay administration.
Additional projects include a projector and screen for Brgy. Cabilauan, New Lucena, which will enhance educational and community presentations, and a fiberglass board with a ring for Brgy. Malapoc, Balasan, aimed at promoting physical fitness and recreation among local residents.
Through these targeted financial aids, the Iloilo Provincial Government underscores its commitment to empowering barangay and youth leaders in addressing specific community needs and driving local development across the province.
