Ten Punong Barangays in Ajuy, Iloilo received their checks from Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. intended as counterpart funds for the KALAHI-CIDSS (Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services) projects in their respective barangays.
The recipients are: 1) Brgy. Luca - concreting of the road at Sitio Talinyas - PhP 300,000; 2) Brgy. Sto. Rosario - concreting of the road at Sitio Cabarawan – PhP 300,000; 3. Brgy. Pili - construction of one unit Brgy. Health Station with amenities – PhP 700,000; 4) Brgy. Bay-ang - concreting of the road at Purok 5 & 6 – PhP 300,000; 5. Brgy. Pinantan Elizalde - construction of slope protection at Sitio Pangpang - PhP 700,000; 6. Brgy. Puente Bunglas - construction of flood mitigation structure - PhP 750,000; 7. Brgy. Culasi - concreting of the road with cross drainage – PhP 300,000; 8. Brgy. Pedada - concreting of road at Purok 4 – PhP 600,000; 9. Brgy. Malayu-an - construction of 1 unit 1 classroom building – PhP 500,000; 10. Brgy. Tipacla - construction of overflow at Sitio Nabitasan - PhP 300,000.
The Punong Barangays were accompanied by their barangay treasurers.
