Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. welcomed today the Provincial Management and Coordinating Committee (PMCC) led by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Provincial Director Carmelo Orbista in a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG) and key law enforcement agencies.

Joining the visit were Provincial Police Director Bayani Razalan of the Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO), Provincial Fire Marshall (PFM) Bartolome Beliran, JSSUPT Vicente Papelera of Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection Iloilo, and the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM).

During the meeting, agency heads presented their respective accomplishments and discussed potential areas for further collaboration with the provincial government.

Governor Defensor expressed his support for the initiatives and assured the delegation of IPG's continued commitment to enhancing public safety and governance in the province.

The visit underscores the shared commitment of both the provincial government and law enforcement agencies to fostering a safer and more progressive Iloilo through strengthened partnerships and coordinated efforts.
