The Public Information and Community Affairs Office (PICAO) brought its community outreach program "Hinun-anon sa Barangay" to Barangays Tina and Ilongbukid in Badiangan this morning.
Barangay officials and residents listened to resource persons Rara Ganzon of Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Geron Magbanua of Provincial Agriculture Office, and Kevin Diomampo of Provincial Health Office (PHO) who shared the important programs and services of their respective offices.
Punong Barangay Myra Lamzon of Brgy. Tina and Punong Barangay Edgar Caspillo thanked PICAO for bringing the activity to their barangay and vowed to echo what they have learned to other residents.
Dr. Marylou Sumbing, program director of "Hinun-anon sa Barangay", likewise thanked the barangay officials and residents for attending the activity.
She also acknowledged the help of Badiangan Mayor Suzette Mamon in referring the two barangays to be recipients of the activity.
"Hinun-anon sa Barangay" aims to bring the Iloilo provincial government closer to the people in support of Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr.'s development agenda MoRProGRes Iloilo.
