Frontline offices of the Iloilo Provincial Government brought its services closer to the grassroots, imparting its key social, economic, and health programs to the people of barangays Lawis, Pani-an, and Ipil in Balasan, Iloilo.
The initiative, dubbed "Hinun-anon sa Barangay," saw program focals from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), Public Employment Service Office (PESO), and Jesus M Colmenares District Hospital (JMCDH) disseminating vital information about employment facilitation, welfare programs and benefits, and hospital services the public can readily avail.
By directly engaging with residents, the program aimed to foster a better understanding of the services and programs offered by the government while providing a platform for open dialogue and feedback.
Organized by the Public Information and Community Affairs Office (PICAO), the initiative underscores the Iloilo Provincial Government's commitment to ensure that communities are well-informed and empowered to access the assistance they need, promoting inclusivity and transparency in governance.
