The Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Provincial Cooperatives Development Office Iloilo (PCDO), partnered with the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Iloilo to conduct a Simple Bookkeeping and Internal Control Training for the Jaguimitan Agrarian Reform Cooperative (JARCO) in Passi City.

The training aimed to equip JARCO members with essential skills in financial record-keeping, internal controls, and accountability measures.

Participants learned fundamental bookkeeping principles, financial documentation practices, and strategies to enhance transparency in cooperative operations.

PCDO Iloilo and DAR Iloilo experts provided hands-on guidance, emphasizing the importance of accurate financial reporting in ensuring cooperative sustainability and growth.

Through continuous support and capacity-building programs, the province remains committed to strengthening the financial literacy and management skills of cooperatives, ensuring their long-term viability and contribution to local economic development.
