The Iloilo Provincial Government, together with partner agencies, held the first coordination meeting on November 6 at the Governor’s Board Room to identify appropriate interventions and programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
The meeting aimed to discuss and coordinate collaborative programs and initiatives that will support the rehabilitation, skills development, and reintegration of PDLs into the community.
Representatives from various agencies attended the meeting, including Ella Zapanta and Jenny Sianson of TESDA, JSINSP Mark Malhabour of BJMP Pototan, and JO1 KC Lyn Felongco of IDJ-MD/UWDO.
Representing the Iloilo Provincial Government were Dr. Raul Bañas (Provincial Administrator), Aulynn Yue Sin (OLEDIPO), Felina Grace Basco (OPAgri), Valme Lujan (OPPDO), and Cynthia Dario (OPESM).
This collaboration reflects the province’s strong commitment to promoting inclusive development and providing second-chance opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty.
