In line with the Provincial Government of Iloilo's commitment to building a drug-free province, the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Search for the Best Performing Municipal/City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (M/CADAC) convened to discuss the implementation and evaluation process of the annual search.
The meeting was spearheaded by PPDO Acting Head Rose Matucan and gathered representatives from the Philippine National Police-Iloilo Police Provincial Office (PNP/IPPO), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Iloilo, and Civil Society Organization (CSO) advocates.
The annual search recognizes local government units that have demonstrated outstanding performance in implementing anti-illegal drug programs, strengthening local anti-drug abuse councils, and promoting safer and drug-free Iloilo.
