In a show of support to the Ilonggo athletes, Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. attended the opening of the 2023 West Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet (WVRAA) in Kalibo, Aklan on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
He also joined the Governor's Night hosted by Aklan Governor Jose Enrique "Joen" Miraflores.
