SUBIC BAY FREEPORT, Zambales – June 9, 2026 — Governor Arthur R. Defensor, Jr., together with several department heads of the Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG), visited the facilities of Gem Power Philippines Corporation at Palm Street, Subic Bay Freeport to observe the company's Electromagnetic Energy-Flux Reactor Stationary Power Generation (EER-SPG) technology.
The visit is part of the provincial government’s continuing efforts to explore innovative technologies that can support sustainable development and energy security in Iloilo Province.
During the visit, Gem Power officials presented the EER-SPG system, a proprietary technology designed to generate electricity by harnessing charged particles or ions through electromagnetic forces, with the goal of providing a reliable and uninterrupted power supply without conventional rotating power-generation mechanisms.
The activity provided provincial officials with valuable insights into emerging energy solutions and their potential applications in supporting Iloilo's long-term development and investment goals.
