The Iloilo Provincial Government awarded the winners of the Best Performing Municipal and City Anti-Drug Abuse Councils in the Province of Iloilo during the flag-raising ceremony this morning.

The winners in Category A (Component City to 2nd Class Municipality) are:

1st Place: Passi City Anti-Drug Abuse Council
2nd Place: Cabatuan Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council
3rd Place: Carles Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council

For Category B (3rd to 5th Class Municipality):

1st Place: Dingle Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council
2nd Place: Balasan Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council
3rd Place: Anilao Anti-Drug Abuse Council

The winners in Category A received a cash award of Php 500,000, Php 400,000, and Php 300,000, respectively; while winners in Category B received Php 400,000, Php 300,000 and Php 200,000, respectively.

The Iloilo provincial government also awarded the winners of the Lupon Tagapamayapa Incentive Award.

For 1st to 3rd Class Municipality: Barangay Parara Norte, Tigbauan was declared Champion with Barangay Abilay Norte, Oton as First Runner-up and Purok Cinco, San Joaquin as Second Runner-up.

For 4th to 5th Class Municipality: Barangay Guinhulacan, Bingawan was declared Champion.

Provincial Administrator Raul Banias led the distribution of the checks to the winners.
