Ma. Cecilia Bedonia of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) was given the Gawad Ehemplo award by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-PHIVOLCS during the Padayon 2023: The Dynaslope Project National Conference on July 20, 2023, at Bayview Park Hotel, Manila.

Bedonia received the award for her commendable contributions and exemplary performance in the Early Warning System for Landslides (ESWL) implementation of the PHIVOLCS Dynaslope Project.

PDRRMO chief Dr. Jerry Bionat presented the award to Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. and the provincial government employees during the flag-raising ceremony this morning.
