In a continued effort to promote fire safety and disaster preparedness, the Iloilo Provincial Government (IPG), through the Iloilo Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), formally turned over 90 tarpaulins to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Iloilo.

The materials will be utilized for fire safety awareness campaigns as the province joins the nationwide observance of Fire Prevention Month this March.

These tarpaulins will serve as vital tools in educating communities about fire hazards, prevention measures, and emergency response, reinforcing the BFP’s ongoing advocacy to protect lives and properties.

The BFP expressed its gratitude to the Iloilo Provincial Government for its consistent support in advancing fire safety programs.

The partnership between the IPG and BFP aligns with the province’s proactive approach to disaster risk reduction and community resilience.
