The Iloilo Provincial Government transferred funds to the municipality of Miagao, today, December 22, 2025.
The cheque amounting to P1.6 million was turned over by Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul N. Banias, and recieved by Ms. Rosalinda Golez, Revenue Collection Clert II of Miagao.
Ms. Irene Faye Siaotong, Nurse I of the Provincial Health Office (PHO) facilitated the required documents for the transfer.
The fund will be used for the establishment of restrooms in support of the province's Zero Open Defecation-G2(ZOD-G2).
The Province of Iloilo’, through its ZOD program, was declared Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Achievement Champion and Exemplar by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Western Visayas during the recent 2025 Excellence in Local Governance Awards.
