Officials from National University (NU), together with representatives from SM, paid a courtesy visit on Wednesday to discuss developments concerning the soon-to-rise National University campus in Iloilo.
The visiting delegation included Vice President Oyie Averilla, Director Adolf Aran, Executive Director Kareen Gancio, and Academic Director Mark Chris Lapuz.
During the meeting, the officials discussed with Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. several aspects of the planned NU campus, including its development, facilities, and other matters related to its establishment in Iloilo.
The discussion also provided an opportunity for the Provincial Government and NU-SM representatives to explore areas of coordination and support.
The upcoming National University campus is expected to contribute to Iloilo’s education sector by providing additional opportunities for students to access higher education and skills development within the city and province.
