The recognition was given by the Normandy Chair for Peace, Gratitude of the People, International Council for Environmental Law (Madrid and New York), Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, and the University of Hawaii Environmental Law Program.
Chair Leader and resolute environmentalist Atty. Antonio A. โTonyโ Oposa, Jr. together with Provincial Administrator Dr. Raul Banias, PGENRO head, Atty. Cesar Emmanuel P. Buyco, Jr., and OPA OIC-head, Grace Basco, spearheaded the giving of certificates during the Recognition of Good Stories on November 28, 2025 at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City.
The province of Iloilo was conferred the ๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ for the exemplary implementation of the Tanum Iloilo Program under the leadership of ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ง๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฎ๐ซ ๐. ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ซ.
