Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. meets with Provincial Administrator Raul Banias and the Capitol's legal and audit team for procurement, namely, consultant Haydee Pasuelo, Atty. Ruel Von Superio, Atty. Lingelu Pedregosa and Atty. Artem Ron Raymundo to discuss matters on how to expedite the bidding process and at the same time safeguard all procurements of the Iloilo provincial government.
Gov. Defensor directed them to find ways to fast-track the procurement of supplies and services through bidding or other modes of procurement while ensuring that RA 9184 or the Law on Procurement is being followed.
