Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. warmly welcomed League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) National President Mayor Faustino "Inno" Dy V of Echague, Isabela during his courtesy visit on July 22, 2026.
Joining them are LMP Iloilo Chapter President and Badiangan Mayor Suzette Mamon, along with other Iloilo local chief executives and Mayor John Edward Gando of Jordan, Guimaras.
The leaders discussed preparations for the upcoming 2026 Luzon Island Cluster Conference, scheduled for August 24–27 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
Mayor Dy also extended an invitation to Governor Defensor to serve as the Guest of Honor during the conference’s Governor’s Night.
